It's
Time to get to Work
By Bryan Infusino (November 2002)

It's November, and this is a sure sign that our riding season is done. We all hate it, but if you plan on doing a winter project, it is time to get ove it and get to work. Winter is the best time to do big jobs on your bike for several reasons. The first is obvious - Time. What else is there to do in the winter but work on your bike? If you plan to have work done at a shop they will usually have more time in the winter months as well. Te second reason is most parts suppliers will give better deals on parts during the winter. This not true for all parts, but winter is usually when we see the best deals and are ready to pass on to the customer. If you need a lot of parts or are looking to have a lot of work done, you can get very good deals in the winter. If you plan on a winter project, stop in and talk to me. I will do everyting I can to help, wether we do the work or you do. If you don't plan on tearing your bike apart for winter make sure you winterize it. A few simple steps can ensure a great trouble free riding season. To winterize your bike, make sure you put stabil in the gas, ad take our the battery. These are the two most important steps in winterizing.. I also like to change the fluids but it is a personal choice you can make for yourself. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and hope to see you all at Stan's on Thanksgiving morning. |
