Winter Prep
By Bryan Infusino (November 2002)

This month is probably the month most of us will get our last ride in. That Sucks!! But, on the other hand it's time to do some cool winter projects that help us get all through the winter.

This month I decided to talk about getting your bike ready for winter. The first thing to do is to go out and get your last ride int. Once you are sure you are done. Park it and put some "Stabil" in the gas, or remove the tanks if you plan to paint them. Stabil will keep your gas from going bad over the winter. The next step is to remove the battery. This is to keep any drain from the bike from killing it. When you remove the cables, always remove the negative cable first and then the positive, so you don't short it out.

This is a pretty basic prep for winter, and I'm sure everyone does it differently. Some guys drain the gas and oil, others just park it and hope it starts in spring (not good). No matter how you do it, don't get to depressed. Just look towards spring and next season.
